N. Starr Model 1816 Musket,

converted from flintlock to percussion using the Belgian method, .69 smoothbore, 32.25" barrel. Lockplate stamped U.S.N. Starr Middltn, Conn. 1837.

Condition:All metal surfaces are brown with heavy pitting around percussion nipple and top of barrel. Musket has been shortened from a 42" barrel to a 32" barrel. Musket has been altered to become a "poor man's shotgun." Stock shows heavy use with lots of dings and mars. Stock has been sanded and cleaned.
