Model 1870 Springfield Navy Rolling Block Rifle W/Saber Bayonet

.50-70, 32.625" round barrel secured by two barrel bands, nsn. Bright finish, case hardened receiver, walnut stock. Receiver tang marked with usual two-line Remington patent information. Right side of receiver with spread-winged eagle / USN / Springfield / 1870. Anchor inspection mark on top of breech, P proof and H.B.R inspection on left flat. Long-range rear sight, hooded front sight, jag-head cleaning, rod saber bayonet lug under barrel, sling swivels. Includes leather sling and correct pattern brass handled saber bayonet with scabbard.

Condition:

Good to very good. Metal with a medium-gray patina, scattered surface oxidation, mottling and light roughness. Receiver has a dark bluish gray patina. Mechanically functional, good bore is mostly bright with crisp rifling. Stock with usual bumps, dings and mars. Sling good, bayonet fair, blade heavily pitted, scabbard very good.
