Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol by Asa Waters,

.54 caliber, 8.5" barrel with military subinspector's marks on the left side of barrel. Lockplate marked A.W. Waters, Millbury MS and dated 1843.

Condition:A very old reconversion, using old parts. All metal surfaces have been cleaned and has scattered areas of salt and pepper pitting. Unusual brass trigger guard that was probably later added on. Stock with lots of dings and mars, but with very crisp cartouches.
