CDV (Carte de Visite) with period ink on back: "Major Bagley the infant Drummer - saw + heard him drum beautifully." Willie Bagley was supposedly four years old when he made a name for himself drumming in 1861, at the start of the Civil War. By 1865, he would find himself working for P.T. Barnum, billed as Major Bagley.
