Kit contains 11 tools, including a tenaculum, spiral tourniquet, bone saw, forceps, and several knives, as well as an assortment of needles, pins, and a key. Several pieces with marks including "Charriere," "Collin," and "Collin et Cie."
The company was initially founded in 1820 by Joseph-Frédéric Benoît Charrière and was transferred to Adolphe Collin in 1866. Collin officially changed the name of the company in 1870, and it was known as Collin & Cie until the 1930s.
