Lot of Three U.S. Helmets and Dress Cap Attributed to Colonel Raymond Welch, U.S. Army Engineers

Lot consists of one U.S. Model 1917-A1 helmet, one front-seam fixed blade U.S. M1 helmet with high-pressure liner, one rear-seam swivel bale U.S. M1 helmet with high-pressure liner, and one Memphis Military Tailor's U.S. Army officer's dress cap with engineer buttons.  

All three helmets have Colonel Welch's name and service number written on sweatband, with later helmet detailing his position as commanding officer of the 821st and 844th Engineers during the Korean War.  


Good overall. Some scratches to finish dust in liners. One leather chinstrap broken. Liner of dress cap shows bubbling and flaking of interior lining with some separation of brim from body.
