Lot of Three Tsuba Including Namban Style
1.) 2.75" width. 2.75" length. Iron tsuba with tumbling cherry blossoms in iron, silver, and gold. Seven blossoms appear to one side with three on the other.
2.) 3" width. 3.25" length. Brass tsuba with six blossoms surrounding Nakago-ana on each side. Background shows a lacquered finish with a rippled texture.
3.) 2.75" width. 3" length. Namban style iron tsuba depicting with lattice pattern depicting a flock of cranes. Iron retains a deep brown finish with rice texture to outer rim.
Condition:
1.) Good. Spotted oxidation surrounds Tsuba with further rust to interior cuts. Silver and gold show some weakening revealing copper beneath.
2.) Fine. Lacquer finish weakened at edges and around formerly mounted blade. Tarnish visible to blossoms with some showing former lacquer coating that has worn down.
