Lot of 3 Bayonets, From the James B. Scoville Collection

1) French M1886 Lebel Bayonet: 20.25" cruciform blade, white alloy metal grip, hooked quillon. About good with a functional release button and some surface oxidation. Void of scabbard.

2) French M1866 Chassepot Saber Bayonet with scabbard: 22.5" semi-Yataghan blade and brass hilt and iron guard with hooked quillon. S/N M91511. Weak St. Etienne mark on spine with illegible production date. Metal scabbard unmarked. About good with scattered surface oxidation on the blade, functional release latch, scabbard with some pitting.

3) US M1863 Remington "Zouave" Saber Bayonet: 20" semi-Yataghan blade and brass hilt. Correctly inspected BH for Benjamin Hannis. About fair condition, blade heavily oxidized, hilt with a dark patina, muzzle ring broken and missing, with part of the ring now flattened to serve as a sort of cross guard. Release catch frozen. Void of scabbard.
