Lot of 2 Model Cannons with Limbers
1. Cannon: 7.5" barrel length. 14.5" long from muzzle to tip of tail. 6.25" tall. Limber: 15" long. 6.5" tall. Model cannon made of wood, cast iron, brass, and sheet metal. No manufacturer marks to item, but comes with limber with hinged lid, twine wound on cleat of cannon, and featuring ramrod and tools with cast iron tips and wood rods.
2. Cannon: 11" barrel length. 20.25" long from muzzle to tail. 9.5" tall. Limber: 24" long. 9" tall. All wood model cannon with oil finished barrel and blue-painted mounts with red trim and black wheel wraps. Item shows no maker markings but comes with a ramrod nailed to limber, 2xwood cannon balls with pins struck through them within limber, and a length of chain connecting breech of cannon to mounting.
Condition:
1. Very Good. Item shows some scratches and abrasions along barrel and at edges. Some nicks to wood tail. Leather fastener on liber is hardened.
2. Fair. Item shows abrasions to edges with substantial losses of paint at tail of fcannon mount and on limber. Wood yoke on limber has fragmented with jagged ends remaining. Metal wire on limber is a brown patina. Some scratches overall. Sliver of wood has broken off of front of cannon mounting on right side. Missing pieces to underside of cannon mounting as noted by blank spaces with glue residue.
