Lot of 2 Antique Revolvers
1.) Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver - .31 caliber. 4" octagonal barrel length. SN: 184956. Single action percussion revolver with hammer notch and post sights. Blued metal finish, with case hardening to frame and brass triggerguard. One piece walnut grips. Features engraved stagecoach scene on 5-shot cylinder. Action is non-fuctional.
2.) E. Whitney New Haven Navy Revolver - .36 caliber. 7.75" octagonal barrel length. SN: 110008. Single action percussion revolver with pinched notch and post sights. Blued metal finish with a brass triggerguard and one piece walnut grips. Features several weak inspector marks to barrel and parts. Serial number is partially marked to bottom of barrel but is blocked by loading lever. Loading lever is marked with serial number. Action is functional.
Condition:
Both items are in poor to fair condition. Bores are dark and finish has heavy pitting and losses overall. Wood grips also show losses and scratching.
