Lefaucheux Pattern Pinfire Revolver
7mm Pinfire. 3.1" barrel length. SN: 18. Nickel finish overall with straw-colored small parts and varnished walnut grips. Double-action folding-trigger loading-gate revolver with front blade sight. Patterned after Lefaucheux patents. Item is numbered 18 to trigger and cylinder, and shows no manufacturer markings. Comes with soft leather holster that shows some remaining flakes of black finish and a black lacquered brass fastener.
Condition:
Very Good. Bore is dark with oxidation throughout. Left frame sows some light pitting behind recoil shield with some overall weakening of nickel finish. Straw color is strong on flanks on trigger and hammer. Grips show some remaining varnish to grip panels with tarnish on brass screw liners. Holster shows some remaining black finish in seams but is primarily barre. Leather is supple with a tear to flap and a hole punched to body. Revolver action is fully functional with some wiggle to lockup.
