This group of newspapers contains front page or inside page coverage of John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry Raid as well as his execution in Charleston (West) Virginia.
Each issue with typical horizontal and vertical folds. Some with minor areas of separation at folds. Minor chipping and tearing along edge lines. Dec. 9 issue with light water staining throughout. October 28 issue with some scattered foxing.
