Jezail Musket with Dutch East India Company Lock by Thomson
About .60 caliber. 41" barrel length. SN: NSN. Bright metal finish with thin brass barrel bands and stock fixtures. Full length walnut stock has a plain jezail-style grip with decorative brass panels. Flintlock jezail musket with notch and low profile blade sights. Item features a Dutch East India Company merchant marked lockplate and double sling swivels. Lockplate also marked THOMSON and 1806. Included with item is a leather sling.
Condition:
Fair. Bore is dark. Finish has oxidation and clusters of pitting overall. Wood stock has scratching, mars, and losses scattered overall. Action is functional.
