8mm Nambu caliber, 4.5" barrel, S/N 80731. Markings indicate Series 1, Nagoya Arsenal, June 1943 production. Blued finish. Clear grips reveal etchings of nude figures. Additional set of proper grooved grips includes. Included note indicates that the author of the note received the pistol from a Marine who participated in the Iwo Jima invasion and had taken it was a war prize. Also includes spare non-matching magazine as well as a modified American holster.
Good condition. Much of the original finish has work away with some pitting present. Wood grips have some wear and dents. Bore is good; some shininess with scattered light pitting. Rifling has visible lands and grooves.
