J.M. Cooper Pocket Model Revolver (2nd Generation, 2nd Variation)

.38 caliber percussion. 5" octagonal barrel length. SN: 3954. Double-action revolver with fixed 5-shot unfluted cylinder, loading lever, and fixed brass bead front sight. Blued metal finish, brass trigger guard, and plain walnut grips. Most marks have been obfuscated but "1860" is still partially visible to top of barrel. Serial numbers are all matching on butt, barrel, and arbor. Includes non-fitting brown pressed leather holster marked "C1806" to backside.

Fair to good. Bore and cartridge chambers are dark. Most of finish has been lost and seems to have been refinished at some point with a weak case hardening, as all manufacturer marks appear obfuscated on barrel. There is also scattered oxidation to barrel, cylinder, and frame overall. Brass trigger guard is developing a patina. Squared corners of wood grips are noticeably rounded either from heavy wear or refinishing. Holster is in good condition but has green residue from oxidation to brass accoutrements. Holster is for a smaller revolver and DOES NOT FIT REVOLVER correctly.

Estimate: $500 - $1,000
