* Italian P. Beretta Model 62 Semi-Automatic Rifle,

7.62mm caliber, 10" round barrel, serial number 001680. Metal with parkerized finish and walnut stock. This is an improved version of the BM59 that was designed after WWII M-1 rifle. The rifle is designed to use a 20 round box magazine and has M-1-style military sights. Equipped with an integral front gas cylinder assembly that also serves as a flash hider. Receiver is marked on its heel P. Beretta/Made In Italy/001680. Left side of receiver below the elevation knob is marked Mod.62.308.W. Berben.Corp. N.Y., N.Y. Various parts are marked PB BM59. These rifles are infrequently seen and this one is an excellent example of one of the M-1 rifles descendants. Rifle is equipped with a Beretta dark rubber butt plate.

Condition:The metal retains all of its original finish. The stock and handguard are in excellent, near mint condition. The box magazine accompanying the rifle does not appear to be a 20 round magazine.
