View of several Buffalo Soldiers, likely from the 9th and 10th Cavalries, looking on as clothing is issued to Apache Indians, who were relocated from their homelands to the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation first established in 1871 by President Grant.
Condition:
Toning to image and mount, surface soiling to image. Corner and edge wear to mount, including chip/damage along top edge (left of center) which partially impacts top edge of print.
