Irish, late 18th century. A Chippendale armchair in mahogany, having a shaped crest and carved ears, pierced splat with central diamond, open arms with swirl carved terminals, above an upholstered slipper seat, all rising on straight legs with h-stretcher; ht. 39.5, wd. 24.5, dp. 23 in.
Item is in very good condition overall. Minimal wear.
