American, early 19th century. A Federal candlestand in mahogany, with an oval top, column shaft, and cabriole legs with barber pole inlay, on pad feet; ht. 27, top wd. 19.75, dp. 15.75 in.

Refinished. Oval top replaced. Two of the ankles have repaired breaks (affecting the inlay). Bottom of the shaft has a repaired split.
