.32 S&W. 3" barrel length. SN: 9972. Nickel finish with casehardened small parts and black hardrubber checker logo grips. Double-action 5-shot auto-ejector top-break revolver with latch-mounted notch and front blade sights. Markings to barrel rib are weak indicating refinish. Marks read HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG. CO./NORWICH, CONN. U.S.A. PAT JAN. 5 OCT 5. 86. Assembly number 372 on cylinder and star extractor.
Condition:
Good. Bore is dark with patina throughout. Nickel finish is weak on edges with patina forming in losses. Speckled loss to flanks of frame and flaking at both sides of forcing cone. Trigger is a brown patina without remaining casehardening. Hammer spur has patches of brown patina. Grips in very good condition with light handling wear and scratches.
