* Harrington & Richardson M-1 Garand Rifle,
.30-06 caliber, serial number 4723255. Receiver is marked D-6528291. Barrel is marked HRA D6535448 2 54 R528. Bolt is marked 6528287 HRA. OP rod is straight cut, flat-sided and has a relief cut modification and is marked 6535382 HRA. Trigger housing is marked 6528290-HRA N. Triggerguard is stamped with bent hook. Gas cylinder is unmarked, has a wide front sight base, and there is no front sight seal. The gas cylinder lock is high, and there is a flat on top of the rear ring. There is a weak Department of Defense cartouche on the buttstock and an unserifed P in the circle on the front of the pistol grip.

Condition:All metal is in very good condition with some wear around the muzzle and to the front handguard ferrule. Wood is in good condition generally with some dings and mars. The buttplate does not fit well and the top of the stock has worn down below the bottom of the butt plate. With some cleaning to the stock, this rifle could become a most presentable piece.
