Half Stock Percussion Rifle
.45 caliber, 39" barrel, NSN. Half stock with brass escutcheon, trigger guard, buttplate, and stock lozenges. Raised carved cheek piece. Missing blade front sight with buckhorn rear sight. Lightly engraved lockplate with set trigger. Replaced ramrod.
Condition:
Fair. Barrel has a mixed plumb patination with some scattered oxidation and light rust with pitting around breech. Some markings and blemishes to stock with a small split forward of lockplate. Action is functional. Bore is fair; some pitting and fouling with visible rifling.
