HALF PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE OF A LANDSCAPE PAINTING

There are mountains, the valley, and the fortuitous blue sky from solarization (when overexposed areas turn blue). There's a hotel with smoke from the chimney, a long white picket fence, a white horse, and 3 cows. There's smoke in the trees to the middle right, and a series of out-buildings. As we move in towards our vantage point, there's a split rail fence and then, as you come in even closer, there's a silhouette of a person. It all looks so real, but it's a painting. Split case.
