** H.M. Quackenbush Safety Cartridge Rifle
.22 caliber. 22" barrel length. SN: NSN. Single shot rimfire rifle with side-swinging breech, spring loaded firing pin, and adjustable notch and fixed blade sights. Nickel plate finish with plain straight grip walnut stock and metal buttplate. One of many "boys rifles" produced after WWII, Quackenbush rifles are becoming increasingly sought after.
Condition:
Fair to good. Bore is dark and appears to have heavy oxidation. Retains all of finish with light scratches and pitting to barrel overall. Wood stock has some scratches and bites overall.
