Great Patriotic Sword Cane,
with a knobby wood shaft and handle, one of the knobs is a button to release the 27.5" blade. The top of the shaft has etched floral designs and a panel that reads "PEACE WITH HONOUR" on one side and "DEFENCE NOT DEFIANCE" on the other. Also near the handle is "Howell / London." Light surface rust only. Brass fittings. 1.5" nickel and steel ferrule, minor wear to finish near ferrule. Overall length 35".
