German Potsdam Model 1809 Percussion Conversion Musket

.71 caliber, 41.25" barrel, no S/N. Black painted finish with refinished stock. Front sight mounted on rear of front barrel band with tang mounted v-notch rear sight block.  Three spring-retained brass barrel bands marked "96."  Barrel marked with proofs and "{CROWN}/FW/N." Lockplate marked "{CROWN}/R" over "Potsdam" in script.  Buttplate marked "7.J.R.10C./152," indicating issue to 10th company, 7th Regiment, musket number 152.  Replacement ramrod.

Condition:

Fair as is. Some thinning to blackened finish. Stock shows some handling marks but is free of major cracks and splits. Markings are somewhat weak due to refinishing process. Mechanically functional. Bore is fair; some old fouling and pitting.
