A fine portrait of Lender (1862-1926) one of Toulouse-Lautrec's favorite models. She was a popular cabaret dancer and singer at the Théâtres de Variétés, Paris, at the turn of the century. Most famously, Lautrec portrayed her dancing the Bolero in the Chilpéric operette.
