Heavily creased, with several separations mostly repaired with transparent tape on verso.

Garvey informs his recipient of a collecting list enclosed (not included here) and requests that she collect funds from African Americans in her neighborhood to support Garvey's political campaign for Legislative Council in Jamaica. He explains: "My election will be a great benefit to the race."
