Handbill published by Indian nationalist Ganapathi Agraharam Annadhurai Ayyar Natesan (1873-1948) advertising 4 works related to Mohandas Gandhi and Indians in South Africa on the verso. Recto features a circa 1906 portrait of Gandhi as a young lawyer, notably wearing his turban which was a source of discrimination in South African colonies. The G.A. Natesan & Co. is best known as the publisher of The Indian Review and would later publish what is believed to be the first anthology of Gandhi's writing in the ca 1918 publication Speeches and Writings of M.K. Gandhi. RARE: no other copies located, with the titles advertised themself being scarce.
