Approx. 11mm, 34.25" octagonal to round barrel, NSN. Blade front sight with removed rear sight block. Steel finish with half stock featuring carved cheek piece and wood trigger guard. 5.25" beveled lockplate with swan-neck cock and fenced pan. Lockplate marked "GRENNOIS". Stock carved throughout with floral motifs and light incised motifs behind trigger guard and counterpane en suite. Fleur-de-lis stamps throughout on breech. Lockplate screws appear to be replacements.
Fair. Barrel has a mixed gunmetal patination with some scattered oxidation. Stock has some blemishes and imperfections consistent with age and use but is free of serious damage. Action is strong and functional. Bore is fair with some moderate old pitting.
