**FN Browning Hi-Power Type-III Waffenampt Proofed
9mm Parabellum. 4.5" barrel length. SN: 157378. Single-action semi automatic pistol with removable 8-shot magazine, skeletonized round hammer, and fixed u-notch rear sight. Blued military finish and checkered walnut grips. Markings include two (Eagle/WaA140) and two late-war (German Eagle) acceptance marks to left of slide and frame. There is also an "MR" mark stamped to left of trigger guard. On the right side there are three serial number markings, and another late-war (German Eagle) mark to barrel above serial number.
Condition:
Good. Bore is frosty and has strong evidence of pitting and oxidation. There are losses to finish near muzzle, sharp edges, and to common holstered areas of slide, lower frame. Light pitting and thinning to finish on top of slide overall. Moderate to heavy pitting on grip straps. Fixed front sight is missing. Left grip shows some light wear and residue to checkering.
