Flintlock Kentucky Rifle

.33 caliber, 38.5" pinned octagonal barrel, no S/N. Browned finish, full-length stock with lightly engraved four-piece patchbox. Illegible stamped marking on top flat of barrel. Reconverted flint lock with  flat beveled swan neck cock, secured by a single lock bolt. Brass furniture includes buttplate with separate toe plate, triggerguard with finger spur extension, flat side plate, two faceted ramrod pipes and an entry pipe, 1.5" nose cap. Includes wood ramrod.

Good. Metal a mottled brown and gray patina with scattered oxidation. Metal mostly smooth with an old cleaning and pitting around the breech suggesting a reconversion to flint. Rear sight an old replacement. Lock needs mechanical attention, bore evenly pitted and oxidized with good rifling. Stock with wear, some added finish, a couple of repaired cracks and slivers in the forend, a repaired crack under the lock and some missing and replaced wood around the pins.
