Fine Chinese Cloisonné Vase with Lion Mask Handles

Chinese, 18th century. A cloisonné vase with lion mask handles, allover floral motif; ht. 7.5 in.  

Acquired by the consignor's great grandfather, a Chicago banker, in the 1890s, as collateral for a personal loan.

Provenance:By descent to current owner.


Overall surface wear. Small pitting to surface consistent with age. Wear to the bronze mounts.Both  lion heads are missing inset stone in forehead.
