Pair of sixth plate daguerreotypes, each in a black push-button case.

The chair that barely peeks out is Southworth & Hawes, as is the moveable column. The other indicators are the cases, the mats, and the poses, as well as aesthetic values.

1) Father's cheek to child's head, supported by father's hand. The father's other hand delicately holds the child's hand.

2) Father and child have their heads at the same level, despite the very different heights of each. The child is sitting on some molding aside the column. The father goes for a cheek-to-cheek pose, again with his hand supporting the child's head.

This is a multi-item lot, so special packing fees apply. See the shipping terms for details.

Condition:(1) Perimeter tarnish. Unsealed. Otherwise, very good condition. (2) Brown spots as seen.
