Excellent Example of a French Made Trench Knife

This knife dates to the French Algerian War and is dated 10/1955. 8" grooved hefty blade and 1.25" inches at the widest. 13" overall length. Aluminum grips with personalized stamped letters 10.1955 and J.M. on one side.  Opposite side stamped Blida (a providence in Algeria) and BA 140 immediately below. Complete with metal scabbard that fits snugly to the blade. 

Condition:

Blade with numerous abrasions from heavy use and dark patination/staining forming. Handle with pea sized dent on one side and with abrasions and light dents from use.
