English, 19th century. Two tea caddies, one Regency caddy with inlaid banding and brass ball feet with acanthine adornment on front feet, interior with two compartments, the other in burled wood with inlaid banding, the interior with two lidded compartments; tallest ht. 6, wd. 7.5, dp. 4.25 in. 

Provenance:Property from Donald A. Rich Interiors and Antiques, New Canaan, Connecticut


Left: interior lining mostly gone, one knob to interior compartment lid loose, slight separation between uppermost piece and lid. Possibly replaced back feet. No key. Right: interlining mostly gone, some corner fittings that support lid missing. No key.
