Alice Delin DuPont (1872-1944) was the president of the Delware chapter of the Women's Organization for National Prohibition Reform, which opposed the Eighteenth Amendment. The Twenty-First Amendment, which repealed the former, was ratified on December 5th, 1933, the date of the presentation.
