English Chippendale Slant Front Desk

English, late 18th-early 19th century. A Chippendale slant front desk in mahogany with pine and oak secondaries, having a fold out writing surface and fitted interior consisting of central prospect door flanked by pigeon holes and aligned drawers, above two fitted and two graduated cockbeaded and dovetailed drawers with brass pulls, all rising on bracket feet; ht. 43, wd. 42, dp. 22 in.

Condition:

Item is in good condition with some restorations and repairs to drawers, escutcheons and pulls. Surface wear throughout minor.
