Edward H. Bohlin, Dick Dickson Silver Parade Saddle with Matching Bridle From the Collection of Marty Stuart

beautifully hand-tooled black leather and finely etched sterling silver Western-style parade saddle, "Dick Dickson" model.  In addition to the engraved silver swell fork and horn, the saddle is generously adorned with decorative sterling silver diamond-shaped conchos.  Hardware and riggings include tapaderos, breast plate, bridle, martingales, and bit.  Underside of saddle is lined with lamb's wool with Chenille wool-edged underpadding. Included is a custom made saddle rack with the initials MS for Marty Stuart.  Name plate in center and on back of cantle show the saddle was made for John F Wernett, Jr. (1947-1979) of Woodlands Hills, California, overall height 47.5 in., overall width 29 in., overall depth 29 in., height of saddle rack 40 in.
