A rare "Alligator Hunting" scene is included, as well as multiple views of New Orleans buildings, monuments, residences, and cemeteries. Additional highlights include 2 views of the U.S. Mint, "Lake House, New Lake End," "Slocomb's Residence, Esplanade Street," "French (Meat) Market," and the protection levee on Lake Pontchartrain.


2 stereoviews on cardstock mounts, each with imprint of G.F. Mugnier (surface soiling, toning, corner/edge wear to mounts, including few short tears). Views of Canal Street and St. Louis Cathedral with Jackson monument are included.
