[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - SALT PRINTS] Two salt prints of militamen, highlighted by identified Bogardus example, comprising:

First with oval mat, 7.75 x 9.75 in. Militia man with his walking stick, parade hat on the table next to him. Identified on verso as Henry Walter Fisher. Bogardus, New York backmark. Framed to 11.5 x 13.5 in.

Second is of an officer with sword belt, sash tied to the belt; bearskin hat on table beside him. Matted to oval 5.25 x 7.25 in. Framed overall to 12 x 15 in.

Condition:

Neither removed from frame for examination. Second with a bit of damage in lower quarter of image; slight spotting of mat.
