(soiling to surface, light spotting and dampstaining). Photographer's imprint on verso. -- Cabinet card of a young African American man holding a cane in one hand and a bowler hat in the other. New Orleans: Souby, n.d. (toning, soiling, wear to mount including paper loss). Photographer's imprint on mount recto and verso. Period ink inscription on verso reads "Return. this is the youngest age 17." -- Cabinet card of a distinguished young African American gentleman. New Orleans: E. Simon, n.d.
