31" curve with blue and gilt engravings. Curved backstrap with a rounded floral design pommel, D-shaped guard with a counterguard of an eagle. Carved bone handle. Brass scabbard with two carrying rings.
Blade still retains most of the original polished finish. The blade still retains a lot of the bright blue and gilt finish. The scabbard still retains a traces of the original silver finish. Overall this is a very good example of an early officer's sword.
