32 9/16" blade, 1 1/2" wide at forte. An interesting example similar pictured in Leslie Southwick's Price Guide to Antique Edged Weapons, figure 406. Blade is clearly stamped Abraham Stamm in Solingen. Short single fuller. The brass hilt is engraved with a single thistle retaining strong traces of original gilding. The pommel en suite. Fish skin grip wrapped with copper wire retains its original buffed leather handguard.
Blade condition is good overall with only minor staining and very minor pitting. Hilt with strong traces of gilding, numerous repairs to the branches. Significant repair to front of hilt. Fish skin grip is good. Leather handguard is somewhat perished. Hilt loose on blade. Still an interesting survival.
