Connecticut Highboy in Cherry

American (Connecticut), ca. 1760-1780. A highboy in cherry, the upper case having a flat top cove-molded cornice over central fan-carved drawer flanked by two short drawers, all over four graduated drawers, and the lower case with a long drawer over central fan-carved drawer flanked by two short drawers, over valanced apron with two turned drop pendants, rising on cabriole legs ending in claw-and-ball feet; stamped ND TUCKER on top; ht. 72.25, wd. 38.25, dp. 21 in.

Repair to legs where they meet case. Refinished. Splits to wood on side of case. Hardware appears to be original.
