*Colt Woodsman 3rd Series Match Target
.22 LR. 4.5" barrel length. SN: 173252-S. Single-action hammerless semi-automatic pistol. Blued nickel plate finish to slide and frame. Has checkered black plastic grips with left side thumb rest, and features reliefs of the rampant colt to both grips. Standard manufacturer markings to slide and frame, with Colt proof marks on trigger guard. Straight grooved backstrap and frontstrap with a flat mainspring housing. Also has an adjustable rear sight and removable 10-shot magazine. This Woodsman model is a 3rd series Match Target pistol made after 1955. Therefore the slide is shortened and the magazine ejector has been moved to the heel of the grip. Manufactured from 1915-1977, the Colt Woodsman was known as the essential target pistol for many outdoorsman. According to the serial number, this model was manufactured ca. 1975.

Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Small indent near frame screw on right side. Light scratches to slide and frame overall. Scratch to bottom of left side grip. Light pitting and oxidation to slide grips, front sight, and inside of trigger guard.
