** Colt Single Action Army Bisley Model

.45 Long Colt caliber. 7.5" barrel length. SN: 219833. Single-action loading gate revolver with Bisley grip and raked back hammer. A blued metal finish covers the barrel, cylinder, and grip straps. Frame and hammer are casehardened. Brown two-piece hard rubber grips have checkering overall with "{Rampant Colt}" logo. Serial number indicates a probable year of manufacture of 1901. Top of barrel features single line "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." with standard two line patent mark to frame. Left barrel signed "(BISLEY MODEL.) 45 COLT". Revolver's barrel has been replaced but frame, triggerguard, and grip serial numbers match.

Condition:

Fine. Bore is bright with some dust throughout. Blued metal finish is worn overall except for the noticeably stronger finish to the barrel. Some scratches to barrel near muzzle and mars to front sight. Drag lines to cylinder. Small patches of patina forming to top of ejector housing while butt shows an overall brown patina. Casehardened finish faint on loading gate and shield with some overall wear elsewhere. Grips are scratched at the bottom edges. Action is functional and times well but lockup has slight wiggle. Item has a replaced barrel.
