.45 LC. 5.5" barrel length. SN: 54808. Single-action revolver with fixed fluted 6-shot cylinder, 3-screw frame, cartridge extractor, and fixed v-notch and blade sights. Blued metal finish, silver hammer, and bone grips. Markings include one-line Hartford address to right of barrel. Frame manufactured sometime in 1880.
Condition:
Good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Finish is in good condition, with small spots of active oxidation scattered overall. Bone grips have some excess space between frame and grips. Finish on frame is starting to turn a red hue and appears to have been refinished, with visible buff marks and pitting under new finish. Barrel does not appear to be original.
