**Colt S.A.A. Frontier Six Shooter
.44-40 caliber. 4.5" barrel length. SN: 322406. Single-action revolver with fixed fluted 6-shot cylinder, 3-screw frame, cartridge extractor, and fixed notch and blade sights. Blued metal finish, frame may have been case hardened at some point, and checkered brown plastic grips with rampant Colt reliefs to both. Has standard two-line Hartford address to top of barrel. Manufactured sometime in 1912.
Condition:
Good to very good. Bore is frosted and shows groove abrasions to rifling. Cartridge chambers are clean. Most of finish has thinned overall and there is oxidation to backstrap, pitting overall. Item is developing a grey-brown patina. Grips have dirt-like residue to checkering. lock up is tight.
