**Colt Official Police Pre-WWII
.38 Special. 3.5" barrel length. SN: 556054. Double-action revolver with fluted swing out cylinder, cartridge extractor, and fixed notch and blade sights. Blued metal finish and checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions to both. Item appears to have a barrel that was shortened. Front sight also appears to have been altered in order to fasten it to shortened barrel. This specimen was manufactured sometime in 1929.
Condition:
Good. Bore is bright and rifling is sharp. Finish has losses toward muzzle of barrel, grips, lower frame, and on cylinder. Lock up is tight.
